After living for several weeks with the original source painting for these prints, I noticed the work giving me a definite feeling of emergence. This sense came from the combination of the reflection from the sunlight bouncing off the metallic leaf, the movement from right to left of the chaotic brushstrokes and shapes towards the more open space of the left side, and the way the main, largest circle (just left of center) seems to calmly emerge from that frenetic activity on the right side of the canvas. It was as if that main circle was moving towards simplicity and light, which gave me hope for my own life, that I might also be able to emerge into or towards some clarity.
My prints are original works of art created digitally. They originate from imagery in my paintings, but are not reproductions of my paintings.
They are printed on aluminum, using a dye sublimation process. The prints are float mounted, floating about 1/2in off the wall. Framing is not necessary, though also looks great.
