After living for several weeks with the original source painting for these prints, I noticed the work giving me a definite feeling of emergence. This sense came from the combination of the reflection from the sunlight bouncing off the metallic leaf, the movement from right to left of the chaotic brushstrokes and shapes towards the more open space of the left side, and the way the main, largest circle (just left of center) seems to calmly emerge from that frenetic activity on the right side of the canvas. It was as if that main circle was moving towards simplicity and light, which gave me hope for my own life, that I might also be able to emerge into or towards some clarity.
Though many of my prints originate from imagery of my paintings, they are not reproductions
of my paintings. My prints are original digital art produced with archival inks on archival mediums. These open edition prints
are produced on demand
and every print has my digital signature.
